Today was so fun at ECP.. With Liwen and Shi Hao only, although we so little people but we still enjoy ourself very much.. Very busy to write too much so just let you all see some nice pics loh.

Nothing interesting this few days in school but I still manage to get some interesting picture if anyone of you missed out this. That day at the study corner near blk 27, an insect stick itself on Joey's 'purplish' shirt and land its egg on her. We are so amazed that we keep looking at it till it finish laying its egg.
Then move on to Envoirnmental Health. We are doing some observation under the mircoscope to see the mirco-organiziam. Very interesting and I have taken some picture so here it is..

Finally, M1 vodafone moderm got updated version for Window Vista.. Today I just brought one. $22/mth. Connection speed of 364kb.. I tried the connection, reasonably fast. D/L mp3 takes around 5 minutes.

Very long never update my blog 'live' liao. No internet connection at home, so I had to write my blog in the notepad and then transfer it into the blog another. Stupid loh. Now, I am at T-Garden doing MOL that why have the chance to update..
Why is my old habit come back again? I tried many time oreadi, I should know it doesn't work this way one loh. Take it easy. Yes! I can convince myself one. Mind over body..

Finally watched Spiderman 3. As usual with my cliques, they are none other than, Shi Hao, Liwen, Joey, Limin and Orange. As this is the first movie I watched with my class so we snapped the picture of my tickets.

Very nice show, visual effect is very good and there is a few scene that is quite suddenly and very unpredictable. Ending is so touching. I almost cried. I mean almost.

JE center have the worst cinerma I ever visited loh. So small and the exit light is so bright. I dun even have the feeling that the show is about to start until I see the title come out. The people there is oso very inconsiderate, can heard a few phone call ringing away and they answer as if the cinerma is so noisy that they have to shout. Omg, sickening loh. But overall I give it a 8.5/10. Flaw is that the story has too much detail. Too many character liao.

Today's saturday.. went to Tiong Bahru to terminate my fixed deposite. Credited $2440 into my account. With the money, I went to check up my eyes again to get my contact lens. Because of previous incident where they checked my eye sight and give me a wrong degree, they do a spec for me that is over powerful making my degree higher. Sianz.. so today, I checked and my degree is R=3.25 and L=2.75 sianz loh, i used to have both side the same degree one loh.. now I have to buy two box of different contact to wear instead of sharing only one box.

Went to Queensway to get my new blade. Seba one, (orange colour) for $290 with sock and bunkle belt for another $10. Total damage today $300. He convinced me that this one have the dunno what bearing with is smoother and the frame also stronger. Since I will be skating this 3 years, dun mind to throw in an extra $50. There will be a skating camp during June. Hope by then I will be able to skate reasonably well.

Today we will told to do a online discussion. I feel like carry on to the story so i paste it in here. those who are interested and read about it..

Q1. Watch the segments on Family Types, Matrilineal Lineage and Family Lineage. What is your family type? What is your family lineage?

I belong to nuclear family and I am from patrilineal lineage.

Q2. Based on the segment on Family Genogram, give a brief description of your family history (tracing from your grandparents, to you).

My father which is 3rd son of my grandfather. I have a total of 8 uncles and aunties. One uncle and one aunty is elder than my father, and because I am the first male grandchildren, I was given a lot of care and attention.

My grandfather came from China and meet my grandmother in Malaysia. They got married to each other somehow. All my uncles and aunties was borned in Malaysia. After which they were all sent to SIngapore to study by my grandfather. Only my father and elder aunty stay at Malaysia because they are too naughty and repelling. So all my other uncles and aunties came to Singapore to study English school, and my father was studying Chinese school in Malaysia. (as my father is chinese educated he find it hard to earn a lot due to the inability to speak English)

My father came over to Singapore himself when he was 24 and worked as a car technician. He meets my mother who was then a sale promotor. They got marry very soon and the I was born. (my father is very street-smart and my mother is very hard working, that why i can live a comfortable live now)


Q3. Are you for OR against Cohabilitation? What are the reasons behind your stand? Elaborate your answer.

I am not againist cohabitation. Seriously, I felt that couple needs to spend time together and know each other living habit. Some people can quarrel over parnter's living habit and then divore because of that. I feel that its perfectly fine if both parties agree to it and they need to have mutual respect. Marriage to me only is a piece of paper to protect both party. If two person really love each other, they can just stay together without the need to get married.

Q4. In your opinion, what are some of the family issues confronting Singapore families today? Elaborate your answer.

Divorce rate in Singapore is increasing. The marriage cert become more and more useless. So what if they get married? They can just divorce as and when they like. Just go through a 3 year seperation and that's it. Another reason is that Singaporean is getting more and more open minded. Young couple experience their first sex experience average at 19 years old. So there will be a higher tredency that this immature youth will get married because of shotgun cases. Later they will find that they are too young to commit to each other and divorce in the later stage.

This will oso arise to more and more single parent cases. So when these single father or mother can to remarry again, the children will have a step-parent. As there are survey saying that step-parent often neglect the other party children when they start a new family with the divorcee.

I feel that my father is very smart as even thought he is from chinese school. He is the first to get to own a company and own a car before all my uncle and aunty.

my mother work so hard for us. she start working when she was 19. all the way till now. she is having a low pay like $900 every month and she worked 24/7. she never break even if it is holiday. after my popo passed away, she has to take care her elder sister who is a bit mentally ill. my mother need to support her and me as well. she everyday only eat bread and she is very thrifty but generous toward my needs.. she is really someone some great loh..

Today is E-learning week but I have to come back for sch early in the morning like 0830 loh. Mr Teo giving a briefing for the student helper and we were taught 'total station' before hand. It is a very good machine that can focus thing far away it can measure distance and angle. So cool loh, Mr Teo say that it cost ard $6000 nowadays. Some more today I need got skating at night, so I have to stay at school all the way from 8am till 10pm loh. So sleepy..

IPPT is coming and I have to clear it before my bday this year.

Okie, Tuesday at ECP was fun, vincent joined us. he like not shy to us liao leh, then at night he still got msg me good nite loh.. But I just think it is a bit er xin lo. I helped Limin and Orange to buy Alcohol. I kind of regret doing it loh. At first I thought that if someone really want to drink, I dun buy they also will find their ways to drink one, but then I think back, I think i am kind of encouraging them. FIne, so I think I am still a bad influence. That night in the MRT is so funny, orange and me was like mad, hitting each other at the plaform, later in the train we were playing game and loser had to be hit on the forehead, and I lost loh. We oso invented the gary's clap, shi hao's clap, and joey's clap so funny loh.

Yesterday, at lesson we were all very moody, dunno why. Maybe the EWT ppl is really noisy. Even I cannot take it loh. Dun even say Joey. She broke down cos she doesn't understand and I think she is putting on too much stress on herself oready. I think I stop here, shi hao is waiting for me to go canteen 3 to eat and charge laptop.

sunday night went to lot 1 with shihao, joey and li wen. basically we went to the arcade and play game. seem like i going back to old time when i hang around in the arcade. really old liao, like not fun anymore. but at least we played the machine red blue and green.. that one i used to play when i was younger. then i intro shi hao to Sango 2. we manage to complete the game in one token. li wen die after stage 2. i think is the controller got some problem with the direction.

one funny incident happened in the NTUC. when i was choosing my sushi, suddenly i think i heard the auntie say this "wah, u children so big liao ar". I really thought i hear wrongly, so i ask her to repeat herself. so i never hear wrongly lo, she mistaken joey and shihao is my children loh. how ridculous of her to say this. I know i look old but am i really that old to be a father of two kid this age??? but i never really angry or wat. in the end i got an extra sushi foc frm her. (cos she is pai seh with her conclusion)

okie, move on.. we went to eat at a coffee shop and then go to shi hao block below to play card game. its heart attack. i was like really into it and shout everytime there is a 'heart attack'. i was sweating and crazy about the game loh. dunno why, i got into ploy, i become so extrovia. tuesday a holiday, class going to ecp to blade ect. so will update again soon.

I joined the GV and squash. So today is my second session on the squash practice. Didn't quite enjoy myself today. Cos the club is like too many ppl and there is only 3 court. So we like 15 people need to share and use one court. Today is the worst, there is this girl, i like she is really poor in playing lo. No say I am looking down on her but she keeps cannot hit the ball. She cannot do a serve oso. So we have to wait for her like 15 minute, watching her hit mosquitoes loh. Sian, I only manage to hit the ball 3 time today. It's kinda bo liao loh..



So far two weeks since my school starts, I have been enjoying. Our 1F01 is so united, we will wait for each other to go for lunch and every Friday, we will go outing together during our break. We will join CCA together and teach and study together. Now we are going to print our class T shirt already. Joey is the one who is drawing the design. Her drawing is like quite there loh. So I post some of the design that I draw myself.

So happy that school finally started. Now I wish to do well in Poly. But I find that it isn't going to be so simply.. To get a scholorship in the second year, I have to earn enough CCA points.. Mean I am going to enthu into my CCA.

So for CCA i want to join roller blade, squash and green voluentor. I considered the dragon boat too but i think the training in dragon boat is too xiong liao. Of cos i need to have a academic result oso. But the EG math is really difficult lo. It is really a disadvantage that I never take A math in secondary school lo.

My class till now still fine lo.. Some how or rather, our class bond the best. We won the overall champion for cheering the loudest.. Everyone is joining in except for a couple. We oso have a student that aced 8 subject that means that he L1R4 is onli 7 point! Today he even dispute with the teacher about a question on weight and mass.. for your info 1kg = 9.81newton.

Weight in Newton is bigger then Mass of a substance because it include the acceleration of gravity and the mass... okie i think i will stop here.. very tired today.. I want to ace my engineering math and i will do it..

Now, I am at Mac using the Wifi service. Because I just terminated my max online because I think paying $58 a month and under using it will be a waste of money. So instead I will be aiming to get the Voda phone moderm that I can carry around from M1. Too bad that Window Vista is still not supported, so I have to wait a while before it can be use on Vista.

So school going to start 16th April, I am thinking to get myself a nice laptop bag. Actually I was aiming to get Crumpler bag. But it is too expensive and the bag is too common in school so instead I got a Outgear bag from challenager for $45. But later when I am using it, I find that it is very big and heavy. So then I posted on auction to sell it off.

Yi wei recently had became the "big boss". He earned a lot of money by 'eating banana'. So recently, he had been treating us to drink. We usually hang out at Music Heritage. This waitress by the name of Charlene is quite nice.. Hummm, maybe she will be my next target. But she is one year older then me. Staying at AMK. Hope she will not pass by here and read this..

Zhen Hao joined Blazing liao. And he is going to be a father soon, but he seem not so happy about it and he seem to be very stressed on this relationship. Wah, so he will be the first within my friend to be a parent.. Ting Feng is the one within my friend to get marry and buy a flat first. Follow by Yin Yin. Now a lot of my friends start getting marry, I hate to receive all the "red bomb" draining my money away.

Just came back from pubbing with Yi Wei. Today we went Music Heritage and then we went to Light house 65. Yeah, it is light house again. So long never go there liao loh. About 1 year plus liao loh. Even since when Serence is working there loh.

So we went heritage to drink 2 jug of beer, after we were 3/4 seh liao rite, we decided to gl rush other pub. So Yi Wei suggest we go Friend Pub, but then I suggest to go Light House.. So he followed me to Light House and we ordered 2 jug of beer again.

And guess what, when we were playing five ten half way, I saw 2 very familiar girl over the other table. And it is JOYCE and Kang Qin. Do you know how surpise when I saw Joyce. Ya, and I saw her with her BF, the one at Queenstown Club.. The one in the cashier.. I was so lost but then Joyce approached me to play five ten.. I am so happy.. She is the girl that I liked and because of her I got some problem with Jia Yi. We sing the song together again.. Guess which one? " Mong Zhong De Qing Hua ". The one which I learn because of her loh. But too bad I wasn't able to get her number or Frinedster account.. But never the less, I am still very happy to see her again and be able to play five ten with her.. Joyce.. I really missed you.. Althought now as a friend.. but I still hope that you will live happy even loh..

Sport camp 2007

I joined the sport camp first reason is to quit smoking as it is a 4 days 3 nights non-smoking camp. Secondly, is to gain more exposure and to hope it will help in my stage fright. So there is the day one activites.

-firstly, i was being gathered in the sport hall for self-introduction and ice breaking games.
-then we will brought to the field for some sport and more ice breaking games.
-later we will introducted on varies CCA. like touch ruby, volleyball, outward bound, candoing clud, track and field and cheerleader team
-the whole day is tiring and we bath at around 12plus and we sleep in a dorm

that round up for the first day. following by the second day.

-we start out day by doing a PT and a 4km run around the camp.
-send us to kallang river to do dragonboat. which I got myself sun burn all over the body.
-after dinner, we had our flag stolen and then we had a treasure hunt to find back our flag.

after the second night, i decided to fall out from the camp with queenie. the camp is to tough for me.
And here I would like to introduce my team "Taino" which my CGL says that its mean 'good person'. and our group id is a frog. overall i enjoyed my sport camp and now i start to regret that i fall out from the camp. but it is the sun burn that i cannot stand. below is some of the picture during the sport camp.

Music Hertiage

Tonight I rushed a few pub. With Zhen Hao, Jin Yian, Shu Hao and Yiwei. We went to MH first then go to 80s then go back to MH after meeting Zhen Hao 'Piao Jie'. His piao jie is quite beautiful. We took one picture so you can take a look below. And I know this 2 waitress at the pub, by the name of Rebecca and Chantal.

Wah, what a great weekend. I never work out since I ORD. Yesterday went to east coast blading. We bladed for 2 hour first and then another hour after Ah Liang joined us. The price of the two shop is different. The second one is much cheaper and better. The shop name is Inline. In case I forget. $7 for 2 hour before 6pm and free sock and equiment. No wonder for the first 2 hours I have been blading real slow because the blade suck loh. People kick softly and they can go so far but I have to kick so hard. Made my angle aches. But for the last hour at the other shop was better. I mean the blade. So smooth.

I like this kinda life. Sweat out during the weekend and not wasting money on beer at pub. Hope that will be more opportunity to go and blade somemore. Will update again if next week I have the chance to go again.

What is wrong with riding a not so cool bike? I take pride in my HONDA WAVE.. A particular night, after work from Cash Studio.. Me and my colleague went down to take our transport home. I told one of them that I don't take cab because I ride a motor. So that night, they ask me to show them my bike. They ask me to ride out to let them see. I told them it is parked just around that corner, they can just walk over to take a look. That time was 5am in the morning so that's only 2 bike at the parking lots. Another class 2 bike other then mine. When I walk over to the class 2 bike, they say "Whao!" As if they thought that was the one I was riding. I had to walk past that bike to get mine cause mine is parked further from it. When I got to mine, they say "Chey!". What is hell wrong with riding a wave? They started to make fun of me and my precious. Bike to me only act as a transport and not something I am glory of. They are so dangerous on road. So what is so cool to ride a faster and bigger bike? They just send you to hell faster. Youngster have this concept of wild and dangerous which I don't understand. At least I got my transport, but where is their? They still taking cab. "Chey"...

Most of my friend see my mother as a very friendly person. Most of them will ask how's my mother when they see me. I am really worry about her. She work so hard for us. But she smoke too much and doesn't drink water at all. I mean never. I never see her drink plain water for as long as I can remember. She only drink soft drink and coffee. She even take her medicine with coffee. This is not healthy loh. Recently she bleed when passing motion. For a couple of time. She went to see doctor already. I hope and pray it is nothing serious.. Really hope she can drink more water and quit smoking. But I don't think so she will do it. I just hope she will stay healthy. Mummy, I love you...

Cash Studio

Never work under a lady boss. I heard people saying this. I didn't realize how true it was, until today. After quitting Blazing Telecom after a management dispute. I found another job in Apollo Center. Working as a "waiter" in the KTV. They underpay me for $4.50 per hour, which I already earned $6 per hour 7 years ago. I have to do the duty of washing cups and house keeping. Not mentioning that they don't provide transport even we work till 5am in the morning, and they even had no meal allowance when doing afternoon shift.

Working in this kinda environment was bad enough and make things worst, I am working with fark up colleague. After two weeks of working. I met this girl, one year older than me. Okie, appearance wise is 7/10. Intially, I was excited to work with a good looking girl and she was maybe 4 month senior than me. I started to break the ice and saying her on what she was doing. She replied me in one word reply or reciprocated the question at me. Okie, I got the message that she wasn't interested in me and like me to leave her alone. So I did.

I started to observe that she was acting like she owned the whole place and I am not going to mess it up. She is hyper actively involved in what she was doing. Trying to impress me by "she knows it all" attitude. She started to correct me on my slightest mistake and trying to re-explain on all the house rules to me. (which I already know, come on, I have been working for 2 weeks already) Not to interrupt her, I just stare at her blankly and hope she read my message that I know it already. Maybe she had low EQ to realize it, and keep going on and on.

I just thought, okie.. Different people, different style. So I just try to stand further from her and hope that she will not pick on me again. Later that night, she ordered me to inform that one of the room is ending at 10pm.. So normal I will start to see the room for last song maybe 2 minute before 10pm. This is my practice as if the customer is particular about timing at least when I say times up, they will have no excuse saying that the time is still not up. I stand around at around 9.51pm. She walked over and say "Gary, I don't know that you can see the room from where you are standing" Very sarcastic right. I was so blown of that I felt like cumming on her face.
She doesn't even let touch counter stuff, even she is very busy. She would say that my duties is to serve customer and counter stuff don't need me to worry. Wah lan, haven she heard of the word. "Initiative".

Why is she bossy. And not only bossy. She is the typical "hu lan pah" type. When the captain is around, she would sound like a pussy cat and stick to the captain like cats like to do to peoples legs when they wants food. Meow... She act so hard working like she wants to work her way to IC, or manager post. Common la, this kinda job. I let you become CEO you also don't wanna give a shit. Macdonale pays better loh. This should be the last post that I commend on this job because I will quit real soon.

O level results were finally released. I was overwhelmed that I passed all the subject. I wasn't sure if I could make it for English and Account. It was just relieved that I could make it. Although, I think I could do better.
I was aiming for Eng=C6, Chin=A2, Math=A1, Sci=A2, Acc=A2. Making my aggregate a total of 13. But my actual result is Eng=C6, Chin=B3, Math=A2, Sci=A1, Acc=B3. Aggregate of only 15. Not bad still.
So whats next. Polytechnic of cos.. So I went down to SP and Np a couple of time this month to listen to the open house. Intially, I was thinking of taking Film, Sound and Media in Ngee Ann. Not long before my cousin convicted me that Media Study doesn't really have any prospect in Singapore. He highlighted that photograph and video editing you boundary of expertise. Anyone who have the talent may do well in this industries. I doesn't really need to go study at all. He suggested Accountancy.An accountant can enter any field. Or he suggest something to do with chemical. So my next visit to Ngee Ann I choose Chemical and Biomolecular Engineering.
To my dismay, I wasn't chosen for that but instead I got into my second choice. Civil and Environmental Engineering. I thought of appealing for CBE. But lecturer in CE say that if I had interest in study I will do well.And there you go. I successfully enter CE. Now I am waiting for school to open in Starting of April. This is a good start. I will continue to do my best in whatever I am doing now to prove to those who looked down on me in the past. Including my father.
