KL trip

I haven't been blogging for so long, I almost forgotten my log in password. Phew... how long had I been gone? Now where do I start. See, I quitted Sembcorp, the company that had sponsored me my study. With gratitude but blessed that I am gone, for good. I commit to myself never to wear shirt and pants to work now. And yes, I am now comfortably dressed in my T-shirt, 3/4 pants and slippers to work. Ya I know, I do not have professionalism.

Family update now. Parent is going through the divorce and my dad is refusing to sign the fucking paper unless he is being given 50% share on the HDB flat which he did not even contributed in mortgage. My mum is responsible for the payment through CPF, he has the cheek to rip my mother's effort. Cold hard cash leh. Gold price on the rise and I lost my bag of gold in my house. I estimate that it worth at least a 8k now. Its gone and the culprit still on the wild. I really should not have let my guard down despite he had been gone for 6 months. The day he was back, goes my gold. Bravo. stupid me.

Mum got retrenched from her company and I had convinced her to run her shop as a mobile phone dealer. With absolute zero background and knowledge, she is receiving healthy profit first month into the business. Blessing here. See the nicely decorated shop in blue ocean theme.

See her big smile on the face. Priceless. On my to do list is to buy her a business and run her free time at shop managing the business, this is the closest I can get now. At least I am the one who help her set it up running.

For my business "BUYINCASE" its not doing too good. Due to poor location and lack for proper management. We are planning something ahead and I am confident to being it back to a shiny state of gold dropping tree. Not so good news, our branding website had been taken down due to similarity of another company named "INCASE" and they had patented the trademark. We had our reason and I am ready to fight and justify my case however due to lack of capital to engage legal assistant, I gave up the domain to them. 

Now I need a new company name, any idea??

Game "Werewolf" at Batam Harris

Over the weekend when for a getaway at Batam with Hippocampus. I thought its was going to bore me to hell, turn out it was pretty fun. Probably again, those are all youngster and undergrad, by right should be more happening.

I reached on time while many other was late, there is problem at confirming the ticket as the queue was quite long. End up we missed the 840am ferry and had to take the 1015am one. Hence we lost the whole tour package itinerary. 

 Checked in to Harris and spent the day at Nagoya. Dinner at one of the street store and end up we the 18 pax made a bunch of orders.

It has been getting harder and harder to blog regularly, hasn't it. Since work, I have no luxury of time to be by my own, pondering over stuffs. Although not back to back busy, but just something there to distract me enough to neglect my blog. I do not want to end this legacy that I have been holding on for so long.

So I might have to "tweak" around for another solution. Blogging within 160 letters, like how twitter works. But using my Samsung Wave S8500. A wonderful application called Dairy.

See, that's easy. It could be a weekly update so I will not forget great event that happened :)

Sembcorp Dinner & Dance 2011

Its Sembcorp Dinner & Dance. Not happening often enough but we were lucky to have them right at our first year. Lucky draw prices were luxurious but we had no chance. At least each got a 4gb pen drive and tons of mei mei de photo home with some mei mei de ren.

Its so unbelievable I "smuggled" liping to the dinner and many got surprised.

Technically, she came in as an employee. She is suppose to report work on 1st April, and Yap was no well so the spare invitation card have to go to someone and so happen it went to her!

The last time I dressed up glamorously for an event was,...... Never. So lucky guys and girls got to see the hunk in his hunkiest moment. Hmmm, seem like there isn't a word "hunkiest"...  

I thought we are overly dressed but seem all of them going on "bee seeking honey" mode. Dress to kill and so many pretty girls around just making my eyes sore. In a good way :)

Food was great, but me and liping got left on a table with group IT people. No much of a communication flow hence boring~~~.... Heng, water operation were next table. Love em...

Today is a small get together at HaBin Prawn fishing at Bishan. In event to pre celebrate Liu Tong leaving Sembcorp but ended up she didn't turn up for the event.

Kewen farewell

We just had Ke Wen farewell lunch this week, and this kind of remind me that I am already 6 months old into the company. Then let's see in the picture, there are 2 new members joining us. For the benefit of someone still in her last semester, I shall introduce them here. They are Ma Yan and Liu Tong both from NUS. So envy all people who are studying in NUS now... Sad

My little N8 Image explained

I am so sick, totally down with a stomach flu. Blame it on the Korean cold noodle I ate last Sunday. This lesson taught me not to act like one "cum some hamnida", no everyone can take their food cold/raw. That's a reason why people invented fire with a flint and a stone. Brighter note, I can take a long 5 day break to rejuvenate myself. Of course, people around me are worried, irritated by my poor health and losing concentration at study. The poor person who is worrying about me, I am sorry to have caused all the negativity. And thanks for chanting "Ah Mi Tou Fu" to hui xiang for me :)

Recently we were into beading animal. We spent many hours of time and concentration to do the animal, everyone we put in our heart and soul. There why they are so live like. They are so alive that they BITE. Only the first one we did, sort of failed. We classified it as premature birth, and born with mild deformation. Poor seal... But as we became more experienced, the kitten, piggie, snowman and twitter bird are strong and healthy.





Whao, very long since I last updated. So long that Liping came for 6 weeks attachment at JI and now it was already 4 weeks into her new semester. Time really flies. Life moving on, still hunting aimlessly. When the one day that my life is finally orientated?

Post AGM 2010

We had a wonderful post AGM gathering. Thanks Valerie for all the picture as well as organizing such a great party for us. Food was nice and people were even nicer. As the milestone for this year AGM, as usual passing baton from old president to new president. Celestine our new president is a capable and well versed lady whom will leader us through many great events near future.

The party was held somewhere in Novena Square I think. They booked the whole game shop down, which made us felt ultra important and VIPness~ We had about 6 game console station to ourselves, Xbox and Wii. Oh btw the badminton was a great game, I battled with Fendy. Hmmm as usual, suck ball at music section. Guitar hero totally got owned. The game ain't much to tell.

Food couldn't have been better. In fact it was the best I had for since so many so many catering from sembcorp. Salad prawn, deep fried salmon, pepper beef, fruits tarts and the best pink pom pom cha cha in town!!

Hippocampus 2010 committee

I was rather surprise, i could squeeze into he hippo campus commuitee. I love to organize event for people and therefore glad with our arrangement. People in event management are generally good people and easily associated.

Just finished a dinner section with them yesterday at Suntec skinny pizza. Head scholar was generous on our dinner budget, which totalling to $300 plus. As we are eye of an apple which deserved to be well fed, and fed well. I quoted her here. Thanks Cynyi.

President role was passed to Celestine from ex-president; Valeria. Both were excellent female icon who holds great leadership criteria. It rare for women to have my respect and they totally deserve my all due respect. Cynyi ended the dinner with a great motivational speech, and I was all charged with positive energy to face my mundane lifestyle all over again. How powerful is that, when you really can communicate and motivate your people whom you manage. These are great people.

Time flies and CLP came to her last week of her attachment. She going to part us for her last semester in school before she return to join us full time. She had been a doll all this while, being strong and supportive to me. I really had to owe it to her for helping me over one major assignment. I had been assigned for PUB clarification and she helped me to document it and typed 9000 words on words. Almost took her half a day typing. I think from 2pm till 9pm. Couldn't had made it w/o her.

Ngee Ann graduation

I felt the need to close this chapter of my life. I had officially graduated with a Civil and Environmental Engineering Diploma, for friends who still have no idea what I had been up to this 3 years.

Although I didn't achieve my target as a gold/silver medalist, I managed to get a Cert. of Merit plus a structural awards. Considering that I study hard and play hard at the same time, I think I did okie.

Oh ya, I was caught littering cigg butt on the graduation day. And yes for the 2nd time. FUCK

I never pay attention to opening speech ever in my life, except for this speech that were told by my BE director.

I never thought that I actually benefited from this quote. My boss really praise me on my integrity, humbleness and my commitment. I really give credit to Ngee Ann. 3 years ago and 3 years after, I had grown up. Mentally. More responsible and passionate to my responsibility.

Graduation Dinner 2010

Oh thanks Mr Teo for convicting me into this course.

And updating on my next step, I had been requested to serve my 2 years bond with Sembcorp first before they reconsider if they want to sponsor me for my degree. Well, even if they want, I also don't know if I myself want or not. Study or Chiong into business?

Nevertheless, I will be going to Sembcorp first. The boat will come straight at the harbor. Don't worry.

Alright, got a little bit of catching up to do on my blog. Sorry to myself, I didn't feel like blogging much recently. Not because nothing to updates but because I had too many show to watch. Survivor, Beauty and the Geek, The Real Huster etc. My tumblr blog will be a place where I note down favorable quotes from all these show. Like keeping me inspired.

Okie, gonna note some of my major happen since last day of examination. Not lining in particular chronological order.

Went around hunting for jobs, and sort of shortlisted by a company which require me to do Auto CAD drawing. At the same time, also went from training at Singapore Pool as a tele operator. I was harder than I thought it was suppose to be. So job wise is much.

Okie, congratulate myself for passing my Dipolma from Civil and Environmental Engineering. Last semester was complete mess up, and I had like prepared for the worst. Turn out, it was better than I anticipated. One less thing to worry about.

Anyhow apply for courses in Uni. Didn't really matters to me. Study or not study, I leave it to fate. Applied for Sembcorp Undergrad scholar and surprise to find that I need to sit for the last interview. Sianzz

Most happening event this month, or probably this year will be; I am in trouble with the law again. D***k *ri*ing. Really unluckly turns of event. Attending court end of the month. Hope judge can give me a lenient punishment. However I did stayed as positive as possible. "Sai Ong fall from the horse, don't know lucky or unlucky"

Attended Elisa farewell party and ate hell lots of food. A very nice place and I am still waiting for Felicia to upload the picture into her FB. So slow one.

My dear went Vietnam for like 3 weeks liao. Second seems like minute when she was away. I don't know, somehow like a period of separation would actually strengthen our relationship.

First drop of NEWater, last day of work

FINALLY, its over!!!

14 weeks for intense training to hold my breath, sweat like hell and then stink like a pig. Everyday Queenstown to Changi and then eat 'da bao', now totally can throw away. Next phase, pack my luggage to go Australia!

Although NEWater attachment quite sickening, I really gained some exposure to my relevant field of study. NEWater is like so relevant can! My 14 weeks 'cao gin', and I thought I had done a relatively well report and of course a relatively satifactory SO assessment. I did by part locally, now must go and fight oversea.

Yesterday, we pray for our plant because it moves from pre-commissioning period to offically producing droplet of NEWater. Auto strainer to Micro filtration to Reverse Osmosis then finally to UV disinfection. If I were to say I know every bolts and nuts in Changi, the sentence speaks for itself okie!! Pre-commissioning involves installating, checking of very component essetenial to produce NEWater and I been there, install it.. check it... loop it... flush it....

Conclusion, I am happy to went through this phase, every water plant only got one pre commissioning period. Rare loh...

Last day of work, sibei high... Took picture with Shan Feng and Ding Wen in the lift before we part individually. All my barang barang... No a lot though, and my "CUI" boots whose used to belong to Mr Cui now is a Plant Manager. Wear his boots mean I will become plant manager one day...

Very important you have to learn to read the P&ID. It drawn in Auto CAD with a lot of symbol which you must learn to identify. It will gives you a rough idea how the methodology of the whole process.

Overall, job wasn't fun of course. However some friends I know there were extremely nice. Which of course make me feel a bit upset on my last day. But joy of freedom overwhelm me almost like just a moment. Walking out to guard house to change my pass for the last time, resembling last time I ORD from camp. Euphoria.

The way back home, i rode exceptionally slow. Probably because don't have to work the next day already..
