My bad. I said that 6220 classic rocks but I regretted it after only 1 day of usage. Battery life really crappy. My Pentium 2 lappie last longer in a full charge. Having to charge the phone everyday is an hazard to me seriously.

Now I am hunting for N85... I going to buy it now and mod/upgrade/hack/fine tune/patch or whatever till it reaches rocket science technology. But "shutter silent" will be the first of my list. I mean, since N85 is already an "all in one" built, multimedia handset. Comprising 5mp with dual led light for imaging and videoing, 3.5mm good sound output, double stereo loud speaker, Wifi / GPS enabled, bright OLED display. Somemore with the N-gage game preloaded, FP2 symbian OS and everlasting battery life. I can't really further optimize it already.. But still I will try.

Now out to buy my new phone... Will update with more tonight. Throw your mother old shoes on 6220....

Whao, brought the sweet little bastard and spent my evening tuning it.. I realized some cons of the phone instantly after I brought it back.

Charger port had been changed to USB charging only. This mean that I wouldn't be able to share charger with the rest of the nokia charger, making it a bit difficult to charge the phone while on the go.

The 5mp camera was over stated. It results in image that had a high level of noise. Not even clearer than my ex N73 or my superior 6500 slide / 6220 classic. Another words, camera quality was disappointing.

But over looking all these flaws. I am still happy with the phone itself. Cool, stylish and solid build. Very expensive looking. The OLEO display was fantastic. Hmmm, I was unable to patch N85 to disable its shutter sound, maybe due to the newer software released on this phone.

Well, I will update somemore another day. Off to play with my phone loh.

Nokia 6220 Classic

I brought Nokia 6220 classic cos I crave for 5mp phone. It balance between budget and performance for me.

And as a mobile guru, I went on researching for mod and hack of the phone. I mean serious hack involving complicated steps that you can't even understand. Okie, I mean I don't even understand them myself. Steps that may short circuit the whole phone anytime.

My project "shutter silent"..

Objective is to remove the regional law enforcement restriction on my phone. You know some phone can't turn off the camera shutter sounds and clicks etc?? That the regional protection for personal privacy. Those hex editor can't open the flash rom on the phone. Therefore it require serious hacking to breaking into the z: rom so that you can do edition on the code..

Sound impossible!!! But there are people who manage to remove the shutter sound. I gonna be the next one.....

Holy shit, I disabled my camera shutter. IE project "shutter silent" had succeed after a whole night of research and testing. Whao... I am so proud of myself. N-series phone including newer versions all can be disable but with a lot of tedious steps and trailing.

Yi wei is my good friend at a private school while I was taking my privat O level. Knew him for 2 years I think. He recently got into a complicated relation with some woman, and he came down my block and told me his sad story. I hate those prudential sale men/women. You know today, I actually went to sheng siong to get some groceries for my mother. One gentle man approached me. I think I got the natural instinct that I can differentiate a sale man straight away. Before he could finish his sentences I told him I am not interested.

But he was quite persistent so I think he deserve a chance. He asked a couple of personal question like "are you working", "how old are you" and "WHAT, you are still studying?" Although, I have been asked this question too many time to feel anything personal, but it is still a pain in the neck to see their unbelievable expession. If not the free gift in his hand, I will not even bother to stop seriously. Then I told him I am not interested and walked off.

Then later, when I am done with the shopping, I was smoking at the bench outside sheng siong. A different guy came up to me and sit before me while I smoke. It like pick up lines. He asked how old am I, am I studying or working? Damn lame loh. I never see someone so eager to breathe in second hand smoke. I reckon that he wanna make use of my couple of "free time" to explain something to me. I think its okie to listen, cause I will not buy but I still still learn something.

He basically explained the whole fucking structure of the CPF thingie, what OA lah, SA lah, MA lah.. Blah blah blah. After 20 minutes, he finally come to the point that he wants to intro the what enhance medisave shield plan. He told me the plan can cover medical bill up to 80% then breaks down an example for me. I found out that he had been misleading me with words and calculation. Rubbish, I scolded him for trying to hard sell and mis-interpret the product. He then went speechless for a while and hand me his card and ask him to call him with I need any help.

I walked off and threw his card at the rubbish bin in his face and walked away. I think I looked so man loh. He must be swearing me on my back.

You think finish right. No loh. As I walked back to carpark, a ladies came from behind and tapped on my shoulder. And she called me shuai ge. I never knew I am so popular with girl to the extend that she approached me and call me shuai ge. I turned over and saw an prudential sale woman. She smiled at me warmly.

Before she ever had a chance to produce any significant sound that can be perceived just above the threshold of hearing, I say:

Well, went for Hippo campus to mingle with the rest of the people. Nice man. A good day to relax myself at downtown east. Hmm, first we start introducing ourself to them, then we head to play our complimentary round of bowling at the E hub. I learnt to spin the ball today man. Whao, a break through on my bowling skill.. I yet to break my previous record of 179.. Hee


After that, we suggested to play some sport at the open field. Gotten all wet and dirty but was fun though. Geraldina need some photo for her IS so ya, we took some..

After game, head back to wash up a little, and they want to play the boring 'save the egg' game. Objective is to construct a structure to protect the egg when its thrown down from second storey. Well guess which was mine. I did the last one which was made of satay stick only. My concept is to build as light weight as possible so that the gavaitional pull can be reduced to minimum. And the sharp end of the stick to support the egg lifting it in the air. So when the egg hit on the ground the impact can be diverted to the satay sticks.


Concept was there, mine is relucantly the first one to break. Fuck up.

Then the other one that looks like some atom also broke. When they cut open, we can see that the slimy juice of the egg and it reminds me of something ...... well slap slap for so dirty minded.

And we end the night BBQ and talking cock, followed by home sweet home.

Oh, I believe you all must have missed me because I had not been posting up my portrait for so so long. So in case you all have been wondering how am I recently. A snap shot of me doing my NPMC practical in class.

And then I going to tell you about my elective module, BIM, building innovation management. We were taught to use the Rivit to draw structure in 3d. Its super uselful as the file can be imported to CAD to generate 2d view, aligning all the correct dimension. So if you guys wanna to major in civil sector, its a must learn module!

So today went to help out the SOE, soul of entertainment auditions. Saw a lot of familiar face singing, including Felicia and blah blah blah. I tell you, FMB jiawen can sing loh. I like her singing. Claps. Video may be uploaded on a later date.

Hmm, recently not in a very good luck man. A lot of mishep here and there. And I was struck by the fanical crisis too. Loss a 55% of my investment. Almost hit rock bottom. The company sent my a mail to suggest me to change to another share. Very serious. I am so headache recently and I am great that I have my society KUKUS lending thier 'ears' to me. Cheers....

Hoho, I am so happy that I did GREAT for my IS presentation. Improved lap and bound. Speech loud and clear with correct pacing, good posture and hand gesture. Constantly sweeping eye contact with the audiences. Even teacher complimented that I did excellent in handling the Q&A. I was so proud of myself.

Maybe because of the good audiences that were so encouraging. I going to return their favor next week by paying attention to them. Acknowledging etc... Or maybe someone in my group that boosted my morale ;P

I want to join Toast master. But always the meeting falls on dates that I am busy. I skipped all 3 meeting till date. Next coming meeting is this Friday where I am having a whole BE division off day. FUck loh.


I am selected for potential OIAP list. Meaning if I go take the form and sign it. I will be flying oversea for a long time. I really wanted to go away this fuck place for a break. But we need to pay for own expenses and air ticket. Kinda "cho" leh. So now discussion with mother. If I not going OIAP then I will not go IAP either. I will then op for IHP cos I don't want to serve additional 6 month with sembcorp loh. Very dry de leh.

Arron is going to kill me if he knew that I posted up his self reflection. But it really amazing that he wrote so honestly direct at the question asked. And in case you missed his "material" today, he describe all alien looking like a "Virgina with teeths".. He literally say it in front of teacher. OMG!!!

How has this module broadened your perspective?

Not much, to be honest.

What are the topics that you have found to be particularly useful?

The topics discussed in the module are not particularly useful but the opportunity to do presentations is fun and helpful in making me a better speaker in front of crowds.

What are the topics you found difficult to grasp? Why?

The topics are easy to understand to anyone with a functioning brain and a basic understanding of English, there wasn’t much in the way of revolutionary in the content of the module but it’s a good reminder on how to act in company, anybody with parents that actually did some parenting would have been taught that.

Although I suppose I find it hard to see why I should only be hoping for a pass when I can probably outspeak ( Is there such a term?) anybody in the class. I mean the module is Speaking with impact.

What are the areas that you have learnt well?

I have learnt to be calmer when talking in front of crowds, although I think that it has more to do about experience than any actual learning.

What are the skills that you think you still need further practice and improvement?

I need to work on improvisation, delivery and better material.

In what ways can you apply what you have learnt to your future career?

I haven’t really learnt much, but not being so nervous in speaking to an audience would help in whatever I choose to do, unless of course I become a mime.

Is there any way that you could have performed better during the term?

Yes, and as a bonus I will tell you why too. My material could be better and in case you are not familiar with the term, material basically means content, or jokes in this case.

I am totally stress up for tomorrow's IS speak with impact presentation. I already having problem speaking with impact, then adding oil to fire, I am going to present something so rubbish formally. How are you going to speaking with impact and try to convince people about things that even I doesn't know weather exist or not.

Today, bring my bike to doctor. It's hurt and leak engine oil because of the impact in Vivo carpark before my Batam trip. $85 total for all the workmanship and spare part blah blah blah.. The technician really pro, they really know what they are doing. By just looking they will tell you, this this spoilt, that that spoil etc.

Finally, my poly first ever project, that looks like a project. Normally all we got to do in project is report, reports and more reportes.. Its like nabei lah. Like working clerk, everyday pak report. So sian right. Coming this STRA project, we going to physically construct a tower using satay stick ya. Objective is to withstand 26kg of load without failure at joints.

So you think, make all the column and beam as thick as bamboo stick right. Haha but not so easy ya.. They have the weight to load ratio. If you can construct something to withstand 26kg or more but having the lightest weight on the whole structure you are going to score higher. Very challenging sia. I going to construct a sibei nabei nice de structure. Hope to enter the youth construction competition. Haha crap, I just make something out only.

Batam shopping trip

How steady is my classmate to organize an oversea trip to Batam with me. I only tell them on Wednesday and we were setting off on the coming Saturday.

If you guys are looking for some tip on Batam trip, let me maybe give you a rough idea on the places of interests and currency exchange.

Overall ferry charges, $47SG nett, which include 2 way ferry, subcharges, any fee incurred and seaport taxes.

For exchange rates

100SG = 690,000rupia

cigarette Marlboro Mentol cost 9,200 rupia. If you do the maths, 50,000rupia = 7.3SG .... then the 9,200 rupia only cost like a dollar plus nia :)

When we reach there, we asked the local on what is interesting around Batam, and we were not surprise that they keep emphaziz about "Zabo, cheap cheap". Okie although that wasn't the main idea of the whole trip, but I was kind enough to ask the rate for those who were shy to ask but dying to find out. 300,000 rupia is the amount you have to pay to have them accompany you for one day.

If you want Zabo, massage and disco, you have to go to Nagoya
If you want to eat seafood and stuff, you go golden prawn
If you want to shop, you can go Batam centre, hypermart
If you like sea sport (which is one of their main attraction) you go to Waterfront city.

Journey between all these location takes around 10 - 30 minutes, you have to bargain with the taxi driver, often cut the price into half. Don't worry if you think that is very cruel to them, its marketing strategy, being kind to taxi driver mean being cruel to yourself.

So so so, we meet at harbor front and asked for ferry to Batam, that was a model of a ferry, but definitely not the one we were boarding. Model of some cruise I assume.

After you pass the gantry, you can access the DFS. Vodak selling for $20 plus per bottle. So cheap.

When we exit through the gate, a swamp of taxi driver rushed to us. We got a little culture shock, all of us cross the road to hypermart to eat breakfast. Tinghao die die wanted to eat A&W. He say he 8 year never try it already, even after we enter the shopping mart, we can still see the taxi uncle waving at us. Sibei funny. He were extremely hardcore loh.

The price of A&W is so so loh. Cost us around $5. Not very cheap but thinking that the mart is extremely close to the terminal, we assume that all things in this mart is sort of same price as Singapore.

This ah ne. Horned at us after we finish our food and brake just in front of us and open door like want to kidnap you like that. But haha, he came out of his taxi and welcome us to Batam then asked us to take his taxi. So since he looks decently kind and speak 10% english, they qin cai a bit and bao his taxi for $40. This $40 is like hiring him as a tour guide, he will bring us around interesting places and also save us on time bargining with another taxi driver.
That is the famous Indonesia 'Batso'.. Last time I training in Indonesia, I will always buy batso for my every meal. Very nice.


Then weiheng die die want to go massage. Okie, heng the booking is full so we had to wait till there is slot lah. So finally, weiheng convinced me to accompany him into the indothai refleks. It cost $20 for 2 hour of Indo cum thai massage. Weiheng say if one of the two massager is more chio I have to let him have the chio one. Hmmm but turn out, it doesn't really matter. Indo thai massage is those family style one of course, not those special special type one.

We decided to ask Ah ne drive us to Polo factory, all of them want to buy some shirt. They say the shirt there very cheap. Exclusively imported from united states and bla bla.. I don't really good with all the clothes brand and stuff.. I think I prefer to stick with Balendo polo shirt instead.

The food is nice, ambiant is quiet. We really enjoyed the peaceful dinner together. Our 400 thousand dinner. And head back to Batam center for ferry at 9pm. Oh ya, forget to mention Singapore time is 1 and half hour faster. 9pm at batam is 1030pm in Singapore.

After that weiheng pester me to go Dolphin ......

ya, we need to mention I had a small acident in Vivo city carpark. I crashed onto the kerb and injured myself. Kanna fined $25 for anyhow park my bike at bus interchange. And leg kana exhaust pipe burn tio.

I am so excited to blog what happened in the morning lah. Wake up at 7am normally brush teeth, bath then I run down to start my motor. Then I realized that there a little drizzling, I pondered for a while, weather to take motor or take taxi. Because normally for a morning 8 o'clock lesson, I don't have time to take the bus liao.

Half way on the cab, I was grate that I made the right decision. Because the rain had gotten a little heavier, I looked outside at the rest of the motorist that zoom past us. Haha, I made the right decision. Stupid motorist..

But my ecstatic rapture did not last for a few second. As the cab approaching school, the rain got smaller, the sky get clearer. I started to think, if taking a cab is a bad choice? Looking at the meter (+30%) I concluded that maybe I had made a wrong choice.

At least, I reached school 8:10am... Not bad not bad... at least my $12.20 taxi fare had been put into good use.

It didn't take very long, for me to realize that MY LESSON FUCKING START AT 9AM!!!

Today, emo... one person go Funan there shop. I though Fallout 3 is out liao... See only fallout 3 on PS3.. Asked around for PC one. They told me that it was delayed till 13th nov.. Yeah.. at least i got a fixed date to know when to go down shop again..

But I just buy a Heroes 4 just in case that my lappie can't support Fallout 3. So I can kill my time while I go and hunt for a new desktop.. Wahahah. meaning I will be sibei broke very soon.. Thanks you very much :)

I read Xin Yi (REB) having a thailand trip after their poly. Many from their class booked ticket already. Wah, they so steady one loh. One say go all go. So I am thinking that we shall not lose to them.

Seems that they had fallen victeam to the dispicable tourism ad. Say what 1cent trip. Nabei loh. Add up to near $200. But serve them right, now there is law to enforce the tourist ad to state the CB exact nett price for the whole trip. Yeah. No more gimmick already. Hmm I think too many people complain to case, so they decided to revise the law despite a lot of tourist agent oppose to the idea.

Hmmm.. booking early shall get cheaper rate lah. Anyone interested?? Frankly, anywhere lah. I so long never go oversea. No happening in Sing.. Bored of Sing... Fuck up Sing....

Waking up 5pm on Sunday. Yesterday went for night cycling recce the whole night. Only reach home at 10am today. One word, shack. Backside sibeh pain also. My tight aching all the way till inside the bone.

Distance cover was from ECP to Katong, to hougang, to tampines and finally to Changi village. Then obviously still must add the return trip from Changi back to ECP. Hmm around 50km like that.

Dina say we had to go 3 recce plus 1 actual. I think I will pop some excuses to skip the next one. Sibeh shack de loh. I going to do homework till late tonight. A lot still haven touched.

Last night, stayed in school till 10pm for the NP@45 party. They also serve buffet at the green mall. Although cater for 10 BE people, but I see a lot more BE people there eating away. Include me of course. But then the food suck a lot.

Later at the convention hall, I went inside to check out the atmosphere. By looking at the amount of 'head' in the picture, you surely think it very crowded right. But fuck la. It because they all cluster-fuck at the center. Very hard to get high inside. Cause at the center there were a few extrovert dancing like 'pro' in the center of the crowd. The rest of the fucker just get very amazed with them. Taking photo and stuff like that. Then its very hard of the other people to dance. Cause if you dance you will be like dancing alone, because the rest of the fucker just keep looking at the center.

Anyway, its still a good effort.

After which got physco down to dolphin. We finished 3 bottle before going to 'pa kek'. Then before going in, I am already drunk. Did a lot of stupid things which I can't remember and don't wish to remember also. And I certainly hope other people can't remember as well. Haha

I have to stop the habit liao. I still in holiday mood. Totally neglecting my school work liao.. Faster tune back, tune back, tune back...
