First day of holiday I thought I could concentrate on my Cabal. Turn out to have a so called "urgent" meeting. Basically telling me that M&S camp is going to postphone. And the rest of the time all of us just chatting away ghost story and 'tele-tuby'.

Felicia laughed away when I mis-pronoun a word. I was trying to say "I tried my best to..." but in the end I say "I tried my breast to..." okie lah. blame myself for not having enough practice speaking English. So paiseh..

After meeting, some of us went to Botak Jones to eat supper. I ordered lame chop. Ya, cost a bomb man. $12.50 for the tiny winy lamb with excess fries. I want to eat bigger portion of lamb instead of fries lah. And almost 40% of the lamb is fatty meat. Threw them away. Wasted.

We da bao and eat under the void deck. Sibei casual loh. But interesting lah.

Later we ordered some beer. Simon is training to pour the beer without the foam. He took like forever to pour it to half way mark. Haha

Finally, holiday break for me. Though there are still 2 paper after exam, but still now I can take a break.

Well, I am most confident in Geotech.. Might score full unless careless.. EM3B.. I would say I really put in a lot of effect to revise. Last question 10 marks throw away. Damn hard. I struggled till the very last minute. Last but not least, Project management. Never really put in effort in reading because of the damn Cabal online. Ya I am addicted.

Staying up late at night to play and Lvl up. Damn man. No time to study because of it. Nvm. over all I did alright I guessed.

After exam right, I just suggested pubbing lah. And all of them agreed. Rare case. We had a hell lots of great time lah. Ordered 3 barrel which was about 12L of beer. Damn, that was supposing a lot man. All lining up for toilet.

We planned to stay till morning. Ron crap lah. Drunk liao make a fool around. So we decided to call it off and wait till Hanz bday. Yeah! Limin promise us to go night club on Hanz bday. Like real right. Haha, but seriously she did promise lah. Confirm with her again.

sundown marathon 08

Sundown Marathon. Singapore first night marathon to cover a distance of 84km. From Tuas to Changi only 64km.. You image 84km = 2 offical full marathon (supposing is 42km). I think these people joining this are some sicked bastard. Anyway, during army I run the half marathon 21km took me like 3.5 hours to finish. Haha, by the time I reach the finish line, my whole group already falloout liao. I took really too long liao zzzz..
I joined as part of Leo club volunteer basically because they are giving away free addidas shirt. Well, it is a boring night and I don't wish to go into detail. I knocked out in bus in the morning. And ya, I almost lost my bike key in Changi. I think someone played prank on me. Took away my key make me "gan jiong" and then put back. At least the person put back lah.

Today I was totally traumatize by the inconsiderate actions of our fellow Np students. Look at the mess that they created. I pity the uncle or auntie who was going to clean up the mess later. Or maybe they can't do anything to it at all. The damage was devastating. Many contractor had to be hired to refurbish the toilet. Maybe, FMB student may consider taking it as a project. "Facilities Management". Haha. Let take a look the damage.

A hungry man is an angry man. I think he is super hungry to shatter the door of the toilet. He basically bash open the door.
Don't know why he manage to split the fan open? Maybe with a hammer, cause the fan is basically too high for him to dismantle by hands.

He practically ripe open the basin out from the tiles. Power~Notice the crack on the urinal. I think he kicked it so hard that the clay falls off.

What a moron. I felt really sad that all of our school fee had to cover this kind of maintenances work.

Okie, more interesting after this. Shihao and me take the lift down blk 50 and we happened to hear people from the next lift kicking and bashing the door. I mean we can hear them bash the door of the next lift I should say. You can imagine how hard they kicked the door. My very first instinct is to assume that they are the same group of people who damage the toilet. Upon reaching level one. We hear a group of student kicking and bashing our lift door lah. CB I super angry and you know what, they jammed the lift door. Me and shi hao was trapped inside for few second.

Seeing the door will not open at all by myself, I basically used my hand to force open the door and there stand a CB malay year 1 student. I 'ji tou' du lan and ask him why is he kicking the door of the lift. And shi hao say ' you want to tio ar ' (tio mean contact). The six guy outside the lift was traumatize by our sudden indignant comments. They just look at one another. I continue to ask them which course are they from meanwhile trying to remember their each and individual faces so that we can report to high authorities. Nobody dare talk anything, so when we realize that we are getting nowhere, we walked off, occasionally turn over the shoulder to "diao" them. Haha, funny xia.

Okie, there not the end. We walked headlessly for a while realized that we are in the wrong direction, we turned back and walk opposite direction and see them walking toward us. We continue to diao them, this time they are whole class of about 13 people. Shihao say 'if they got no 10 people better dun tio with us'. Sure let them find their teeths all around the floor. Haha, then the malay guy walk up and apologize to us.

End of story, sorry for the abruptly ending. Cause basically this is no moral one. Haha, just funny..

Singlish

I happened to search the word "Singlish" and it returns a website where its writing is hybrid between a professional and an Ah Beng.

Immediately I class myself in the last category. From the way I blog and talk you can see I am always using the "Basilect" way of professional Singlish. Let me recall and give you a list of friend that I classify them in this category.

• Nia is originated from Hokkien which means 'only', mostly used to play down something that has been overestimated

She is like that only nia. Nothing special

• "Then you know" is a phrase often used at the end of a sentence or after a warning of the possible negative consequences of an action. Can be directly translate as "and you will regret not heeding my advice".

Knn, you diao him, later kana beat then you know.

• sia, is used to express envy and for emphasis. The term "siah" is derived from Hokkien which consists of two words 'si' (literrally die) and 'ah' (a form of exclamation)

Today, I switched off my phone. I am expecting phone call from my cousin. And they are going to ask me why AM I NOT AT THE FUCKING WEDDING DINNER? But what to do. Father decided not to go. He still owe my 4th auntie money remember? And somemore right, going to wedding mean giving them hong bao which is a lot of money. He keep complaining that he had only one son and they had three.. Bo Hua and all these stuff. I was already bathed and dressed up nicely in my dinner suit. Mother put on her make up half way, Father come back and say he dun wan to go liao.

So when they can't reach my father, they will call me. Like my 4th auntie ask to me ask father to call back her once he come back. Which he haven call, and it like 3 weeks liao, so my auntie going to assume that I never tell my father loh. Then today, my cousin going to call me and ask why I never go.. So I switched off my phone.

More du lan is what you know. He brought a China 'double sim' phone. Got money buy phone, no money to bao ang bao. Then knn stupid let outside people chop his head, and he well enough to know that I sell handphone de mah. Ask from me sure got better price. I think he's up to something again.

These few days haven do any homework and keep playing Cabal. A bit addicted to the game. But I must know how to control. In the end, even I am the strongest fighter in Cabal dun get me to Uni. So ask myself, what for leveling up so fast??
Sometime I hope asiasoft can ban my account for cheating. Yeah.. ban me please I am botting. So I can concentrate on study liao.
Wah you see. I so clever right... I&E event mangement I need to publicize my event right. Then I always had people from I&E spamming my NP mail. So I going to spam them back this time.

After trying for like half an hour, I can't find the option to send to all people in NP. Only got one list which I can't see all the email of NP. So I going to add them all in.

But the list is too long. I pressed the Shift + down to select them. And the list goes on like never ending. So I so smart put two packet of drink there to support. Happy with my creativity.

Went canteen to have a break. Cause the list is like 12 000 people in NP. So after waiting for 2.5 hours. I finally got the whole list selected.

When I pressed the send button, the pop up says that memory full, close application. KNBCCBye........... Can anyone teach me how to send spam mail. Please!!!

Class T shirt

Whao, the class T I designed is finally for collection.. I think we took 1 fucking year and finally we printed out the shirt. Well, I was expecting distorted graphic as the soft copy wasn't neatly touched on the edge of the graphic. But I think it turns out great.

If the shirt is too abstract or you wonder why is the logo like this, let me explain. We are CIVIL and ENVIRONMENTAL ENGINEERING. Which the words are neatly printed under the suspended bridge. It is obvious that the suspended bridge represent the civil part. So the environmental part is the logo printed at the back for our shirt. If you are an environmental person, this logo might not be foreign to you. You can see this logo on some plastic bottle.

Last thursday, we cancelled Mr dam dam lesson. Ya, that's right we cancelled his lesson instead of letting him cancel ours. Now we get him to taste his own medicine. He always like to cancel lesson, like almost 60% of the time. So we already 1 month after school starts, but then we realize that we never had our WHS lesson on thursday at all. Which apparently he cancelled it away. So to maintain this title of 'thurday no dam dam'. We decide to pon his lesson. Whole class.

But late I realize it too cruel to leave him in the classroom waiting for us. So I call him to ask him to cancel class.

gary: emm... because .... we would like to self-study on our own (not convincing enough), emmm... we had something on....

China Earthquake

Recently, busy with meeting and school work. So I never really watch the news. At night when I reach home. mum told me that China (shi chuan) there got a major earthquake that killed a lot of people. Wah.. I 'om mi tuo fu' them lah. Very ke lian.

This consider quite a big new this year, other than the Mas Selamat, Rice shortage crisis and increase of GST and taxi fare blar blar blar.

Initially interested in going for the 2 month attachment in China (Wu han) one. But now I scare liao. The natural disaster and the Olympic in Beijing. You know lah, when there is event like Olympic, there tend to be terrorist eying them for bombardment.

Okie, today I purposely go and cut my hair because I need to take passport size photo. And then ar, I tell auntie to trim a bit, she accidentally 'chopped' my fringe. I kpkb her a little, she apologize and say that she will help me touch up. In the end, she 'touched up' too much and one side of my fringe is like super short lah. CB

Unusal Blog traffic

My president and vice president had been viewing my blog anonymously. As they think that my blog provided a good portal for them to excess other society member blog lah. It not that I mind they read my blog, in fact I should happy that there is traffic on my blog. But is the matter of fact that they know my stuff more than I had expected them to know. Caught me off my guard. Shi Jie (VP) even pointed out I had the 'romantic' word spelled wrongly.

Imagine me as Guillian Chuang kanna take photo inside changing room like that. She thought she was safe, then undressing everything. But she never know that she was on the camera. But well.. most of my content is just normal day to day activities. Nothing to hide about too. Now I like totally 赤裸裸.

Today after meeting went to bt food centre to eat super. This was the pigeon I crave to eat few days ago with Li Ping one. But that time sold out liao, not chance to eat. Wah, KNN totally sucks loh. I think the chicken wing taste nicer lah. And somemore this "BBQ pigeon" cost $3. The meat of it is so thin I think you can see through it. It's hard and oily, taste like overcooked chicken. Wasted money.

But, on the other hand.. I had a great supper with them. (i obviously had to say i enjoyed right, cos they might pop in and read it) Haha.. I heard a lot of story and experience in school work and event management. Wah. I found that Poly life wasn't that 轻松 after all. A lot of pressure from all areas.

Hmm, for me, if I can improve on my confidence and communication skill in Poly is very very the good already. Okie good night.

Change phone - 6500 slide

Yesterday mark the history of my W580i which had served me faithfully for the period of 3 weeks. It's too that the phone is not good or something but I just crave for trying out new gadget. So kiss it goodbye~

Father Birthday 08

Today is my Father's birthday. 10th May. I think for 24 year I never really remembered his birthday until this year. I don't know why I suddenly feels that it kinda important to remember parent's birthday. I also have to remind myself that my mother birthday is coming soon 21th May. My parent's birthday are close to each other and somemore close to Mother and Father day.

Anyway, all of us agree that we do not want to throw something big to celebrate. Troublesome, and we are all 3 little lazy pigs. So we just went to coffee shop to have a pot 'luck'.

Notice why instead of a family photo we took 3 seperate portrait or not. Haha.. I believe no one can guess why. And I am not going to tell you all why.
Well, I have less than 10 picture of my father on my computer. This maybe the 3th or 4th. And today I realized that my father phone inside got my picture...

My butterfly effect

After one year in NP. Today is my first time I speak in front of a LT. Lol... par par sia~ but okie lah.. not so much of a butterfly in my stomach. Anway I joined Toastmaster Club as a CCA. Basically its a speaking club where they train and increase self-confident for public speaking. I am looking forward for their first meeting and so on.

Its always good to face our own weakness and tackle it in a positive manner. Though I am a slow learner but at least I am hardworking and persistence. The tutle will win the race one day right.

So today Div 2 meeting so fun. A lot of them turned up as compare to Div 1. I am not complacent here okie. Just feel awesome so many manage to turn up. I seriously think that we are the soul and heart. Whether they turn up for the next one, more or less depended on how interesting we make the meeting to be. Wah, talk like a pro sia :)

I had a strong interest about this topic "butterfly effect". I do not know how to describe that but for those who know what it mean right, ya.. I am very into this topic. Something about cause and effect. Like if you never broad this bus, what are the effect and future of you compare to the effect and future of you which had boarded it. Maybe the more I explain the more confusing you are. Anyway.. today I watched "butterfly effect" for the 6th time. OMFG. I basically can recite the whole narration of this superb show lah.

I am going to blog this. This person can really piss me off. Like totally can. Please don't ask me question like I obligately needs to answer you like that. I don't like to explain things to someone.

Hell, why sia.. Why can't you just lives with the answer and stop your assumption.

I was fucking busy chatting away with guo an, simon and gerldina on MSN to get the timing to meet tmr. And it takes like forever liao. I need to finalize the class T design to submit to the print shop. I need to write and Email to the person and stuff. I need to call the whole class to get their T shirt sizes and like around half never pick up. I fucking multi-tasking so many thing. I still have unfinished assignment and unread story book and so on so on.

So I was on the phone with Orange at that time that this "person" called in. This very moment Orange is complaining that I should get some sizes sample for person to choose from. So I was like very busy at this moment right?

I press the "busy" button on my phone, basically to end the 'ringing tone'.

The "person" called in again, claiming that I missed call "person" few minute ago. So very irritated by the 'ringing tone' I pressed the busy button the 2nd time.

(I have to add in here that, I am calling on my handphone and I want to end Orange's conversation that's why I don't wish to switch to another line, and there is function for the "busy" button rught)

Weekend is a boring one. Stay at home for the two but didn't study much. I haven even finish my assignment. Now already sunday night liao. Tmr Geo, but I still haven finish his practical paper.. Hai~

On a brighter note, I knew someone from MSN. She say that I added her, but I can't remember doing so. We strike off well with wide range of topics. Very cheerful girl I should say. Like to suan me a lot even thought we don't know each other well.. I saw her celebrity look alike chart, and she asked me to do one for myself so...

So since I not doing homework, then what I did during the weekend.. I helped Felicia to do the blog. I really like web designing. I thought of studying that in Poly. But ppl adviced me not to study that because of lack in expertise in this course.. Any tom dick hairy can enter these field.. So now I really spent it like a past time creating webpage..

I really hope 2nd sem I will be able to study Flash Application for my IS module. But that subject to the popularity of the course. If not a lot of people choose that, they might not held the course. So sad :( But if i finish the course.. Sure add a lot more candy to my webbie one loh..

busy designing blog skin

Recently, busy helping Felicia to do her blog. I kinda of like the blog I designed.. I think its 70% done with all the picture and skeleton format. Just need all the code stuff to be embed. Wahaha.. will post the screen shot once its done.

Nothing too special this week. Not much lesson or homework as HUM HUM keeping canceling class but can feel that its slowly coming in. Had to concentrate more in class. Kinda day dreaming a lot in class nowaday plus going out almost everyday. Although, when I first come in Poly, I thought I will have those happy go lucky mentality. Turn out I am so hard up on school work.

Happy that now I am in BE society. Seem to have lots of chance to know more friends..
