I was taught the “Tim tam slam” by our Aussie friend here and was told that any Australian must have tried it once in their lifetime.
Tim Tam is chocolate biscuit made by Arnott’s Biscuit, Australia which had sold 35 million packs per year, averaging to 1.7 packs per Australian. I think it even beats Hello Panda by Japan, Meiji often known as “Xiao Xiong Bin”.

So now you know about Tim Tam as a biscuit, so what is “Tim Tam Slam”? It a process by how the food is consumed, just like Espresso isn’t a brand of coffee rather it is a way how coffee is prepared.
What you need:
Simply Tim Tam biscuit together with a cup of hot beverage of your choice. For me I prefer to go along with a cup of Espresso.
Step 1: Bite off 2 end of the Tim Tam biscuit, carefully not to give in to tempating of biting up the whole biscuit.
Step 2: Dip into the hot beverage, and suck the drink using Tim Tam as though you would do it with a straw.
Step 3: Feel one second of the hot drink and shovel the half soggy biscuit into your month before, it slip off into the coffee. All about timing and experience, my friend.
Tim Tam Slam is made possible base on the fact that the outer layer of Choco and biscuit are harder than the filling inside the biscuit, for best result serve chilled Tim Tam as it provides extended suction time. The filling disintegrate quickly upon contact with the heat and savor the combination of choc and espresso on your taste bugs are super ecstatic.
I'm going to try it! THanks! :D
