Gen Y really hard to manage. This is what I always told Mr Thiam about. "You just have to manage, these are Gen Y, a mind of their own".
I myself, claims that I am a cross bred between Gen X and Y. Like them I do not like to work, no responsibility for others responsibility. Always dream about passive income and absolute no loyalty and practical.
Till now, I just realize how hard it is to work with Gen Y people. When i recruit on classified, most gen y will just call in and interrogate me about pay scheme, welfare and benefits. They never thought of what they can offer into the business. Lousy standard really. I asked one of them, the reason to quit away previous job and they have the cheek to say because its boring. OMG.
Recruit one, character wise is okie, but do not have much initiative, not what I am looking in a good salesman and a good team player. Never to say my future partner that I can put my trust on. Quit after 2 weeks within less than 24hrs notice. Lousy.
New comer Sam, looks promising. Better, willingness to learn and also quite initiative. I see some light in him, might offer him to take up the redhill outlet in the near future. Pray that we can both work well with each other. :)
