2010 Wishlist

2010 wishlist....

The new start of the year and I shall plan what I gonna get for myself this year. I broke off from parent tendering care years ago and now I left with myself to fulfill any of my own desires. No longer can I beg or cry for toy. I had to earn it my way. Sad

As I grow older and mature in my thinking, I becoming more of a homey person. Rather than to spend money on clothes and entertainments, I would now rather spend it on home. Like improving my quality of life. Since most of the time I am sacking at home, its only reasonable for me to 'upgrade' my house. Room to be specific.

As much as I don't do much house keeping, I also try to keep my stuff minimum. My room is quite spacey in general. And therefore it lacked liveliness. So boring..

After a hectic day, what's more to get back home and lay on my beloved bed. But to find out that my mattress is cheapo and uncomfortable. Moreover, we all are spending 1/3 of our life sleeping. Lets say we can life to 60. We will be spending 20 years sleeping. A good bed frame and mattress seems to be a returning investment. Okie. I manage to convince myself to get a new bed. And a good one.

Max allowable limit: $500 ($200 for frame and $300 for mattress)

As a coffee fanatic, its ironic not to have a good coffee maker at home. I had many many small gadget to make coffee. Ranging from french press to stove maker and socks. But all is mediocre quality. I need a espresso machine. One that can provide me with the essential 15 bar of hot water pressure to extract the coffee crema. No use if I had good coffee beans but poor equipment for extraction.

However, a espresso machine is a damn expensive applicants. Easily cost $1500 for basic. I now sourcing for alternative or second hand.

Max allowable limit: $300

Due to some legal issue, I cannot open my house door at anytime unless I going out. My air in my house is rather static or stagnant. I need a ceiling fan. Then I can remove my conventional fan for more space and ceiling fan is easy to clean and generate better wind ventilation.

Max allowable limit: $300

I don't know about entertainment. Should I get a XBox or Wii to kill my time and entertain my friends???? Somemore I had a HD ready LCD at home. I should utilize it right? If so...

$500 (optional)

And and and, a nexus one google phone to replace my ipod touch. I hope it can update itself to match up with the all almighty IPHONE!!!

$800 (optional)

I not really sure. Am I a person who can gets thing done? Out of the 3. I hope I can get them all. I went to Ikea and got inspired by the efficiently use of space. The 22m^2 space had so much so much stuff. Very cozy... So envying...

Changi NEWater plant opened

SINGAPORE : Singapore’s largest and most advanced water reclamation plant — the Changi Water Reclamation Plant — will open next week. The pumping station at the new Changi Water Reclamation Plant is as high as a 25—storey building. The station collects all used water from the deep sewerage tunnels via gravity. The water then undergoes a treatment process at the plant before being discharged into the sea. Part of that treated water will be processed into NEWater when the NEWater plant, which is being built on the rooftop of treatment facilities, is ready. The NEWater factory which will be operational by May next year can produce 50 million gallons of treated water daily. This is equivalent to the volume of water in 90 Olympic—sized swimming pools. PUB said the Changi Water Reclamation plant stands out in its land use. "The designers have incorporated a space saving design concept — things like stack treatment tanks and also stack treatment facilities like our sludge treatment facil

Is finnciti a scam? a layman perspective

Recently, thru a friend introduced me a platform finnciti (previously known as smicap) where you can multiple your investment in folds. The return as per quoted is up to 100% just by holding your investment on hand. I was skeptical and interested at the same time so I went online to do a little research on my own. It is not difficult to return result by just searching: "Is finnciti a scam" or "Is smicap a scam". Reviews were in mixed bag. Some mention that they earned big bucks and its a platform for normal people to get richer while some other point out some resemblance of a scam structure and therefore classified finnciti as a scam platform. I am a layman using basic logic to analyst the concept and by no mean I am advising to invest or against it. But in my humble opinion, ALL INVESTMENT POSSESSES RISK AND PLEASE BE PRUDENT WHEN DOING ANY KINDS INVESTMENT AND ONLY INVEST IN YOUR MONEY THAT YOU CAN BEAR LOSING .
