I brought a coffee plunger, finally

Cigarette makes it possible to get out of bed in the morning, while coffee makes it worth it.
- Gary Ng

Today I going to talk about something my favorite. Coffee. and BTW stopped smoking for 6th days already.

I remember my first exposure to a coffee machine in Haato cafe. During then, I must be able to make simple coffee with espresso base. Making espresso on the machine was not difficult at all. But then I got trouble streaming the milk, always ending up burnt. (over streaming)

So now I had been improving. Why leh. Because I had been practicing with my company's espresso machines.

Rinse with hot water

Grind coffee powder

Tamp it

Running preferably 9 bar pressured water to extract the coffee oil

Froth the milk tip: start from the middle and let it swirl the milk around

My daily latte fix. FYI golden brown is called 'crema'

For those who knows me, I had a very addictive personality. There isn't a word as "addictable" however I was trying to express that I am very prone to addicting. Caught a few addiction and got off a few. Caffeine addiction might be one of those which I had no intention for quitting. To my surprise I realizes that Australian is also coffee drinker. Everyday coffee like me, we could easy drink 3 cup a day.

At home, I used to drink 3 in 1 coffee. My close friend knows if you come my house often enough. Very recently only, I got myself a coffee socks. I had been making traditional Chinese coffee. Well, inspired by Liping who brings back a Vietnam coffee brewer.

I therefore sourcing for so many so many other ways to brew coffee, but in Singapore you can't find them. But in Australia, there are abundant of them. Deon, who takes care of us gave me a plunger. (french press). The most easy equipment to brew coffee and its very popular over in Australia.
4 cup plunger

Then I a bit siao, go and buy a portable plunger from bodum. This one only 330ml capacity therefore one serving per time. Very innovative design so I decided to keep one myself. Its a photo holder, the space around the cup had 2 layer plastic so also acts like an insulation. Spill resistance like a water bottle, so I can carry to school. Yeah!! I am so happy.

Now I left a stabbie holder to make my collection complete. Stabbie holder was used to hold can drink or stab to keep it cooler/ warmer and absorb water. Something I coaster like that. I can one to wrap my portable plunger. So cool right.

This stabbie holder was an Australian product. I think I will get this as a souvenir. Ask me for one ")

Changi NEWater plant opened

SINGAPORE : Singapore’s largest and most advanced water reclamation plant — the Changi Water Reclamation Plant — will open next week. The pumping station at the new Changi Water Reclamation Plant is as high as a 25—storey building. The station collects all used water from the deep sewerage tunnels via gravity. The water then undergoes a treatment process at the plant before being discharged into the sea. Part of that treated water will be processed into NEWater when the NEWater plant, which is being built on the rooftop of treatment facilities, is ready. The NEWater factory which will be operational by May next year can produce 50 million gallons of treated water daily. This is equivalent to the volume of water in 90 Olympic—sized swimming pools. PUB said the Changi Water Reclamation plant stands out in its land use. "The designers have incorporated a space saving design concept — things like stack treatment tanks and also stack treatment facilities like our sludge treatment facil

Is finnciti a scam? a layman perspective

Recently, thru a friend introduced me a platform finnciti (previously known as smicap) where you can multiple your investment in folds. The return as per quoted is up to 100% just by holding your investment on hand. I was skeptical and interested at the same time so I went online to do a little research on my own. It is not difficult to return result by just searching: "Is finnciti a scam" or "Is smicap a scam". Reviews were in mixed bag. Some mention that they earned big bucks and its a platform for normal people to get richer while some other point out some resemblance of a scam structure and therefore classified finnciti as a scam platform. I am a layman using basic logic to analyst the concept and by no mean I am advising to invest or against it. But in my humble opinion, ALL INVESTMENT POSSESSES RISK AND PLEASE BE PRUDENT WHEN DOING ANY KINDS INVESTMENT AND ONLY INVEST IN YOUR MONEY THAT YOU CAN BEAR LOSING .
