BE BBQ and STRA testing

Okie, this is my 300th post. Yeah! Hmmm hahaha

Okie. had not been updating recently loh. I am down will some sickness. I can't describe but I think it was quite serious. Keep falling sick on and off like for 1 full week already. My body was strong always, until now...

Okie lets start off last friday, the BE BBQ night.

Cuties 09 main comm

But I think we are hotter!!!

It had been my "zao pai dong zhuo"
The infamous twist pose. Or just because that my expression for
taking photo was so limited. So I lazily just pose the same over and over again.

Sharon was the organizer and I think the event rocks loh. All was having fun and a lot of us was singing through the mic and amplify out for the big speaker, hoho. We had to use youtube as the source for the lyrics, and that's what I like about youtube. So useful for all purposes.

I was imidating the Jam Siao singing bei pan, wahaha

Okie, next. Let talk about the STRA tower testing.

So ironic that we had to spend 3 days to do the project for the ultimate purpose of destroying it. Design wise we were not among the most specticular one. However we managed to withstand a significant load of 87kg.

The rest of the tower didn't had the chance to test it. Cause basically they just tried to destroy their by stepping onto their poject. So techincally we are the so called strongest tower. Yeah!

Our tower also weighted the lightest so naturally we got the most load bearing to self weight ratios. Our concept was making use of the strongest triangle trusses, where the support between members were the strongest, theorically lah.

We were the 3rd tower, namely the 'tow-almight'. Among other like the "dark vader"

Suppose to put 4kg of load on each of our level so totalling of 12 kg on the structure, then follow by all other weights on the roof till it reaches failure. We put amost 87kg till the sound 'piah' notify us of sigh of failure.

2 second of breath-taking silents, followed by stumbling of the board that weighted 87kg. Wrecked our 3rd and 4th level. Everyone was evading fearing the weights could land on our feets.

Our 3 days of hard work ruined.

Changi NEWater plant opened

SINGAPORE : Singapore’s largest and most advanced water reclamation plant — the Changi Water Reclamation Plant — will open next week. The pumping station at the new Changi Water Reclamation Plant is as high as a 25—storey building. The station collects all used water from the deep sewerage tunnels via gravity. The water then undergoes a treatment process at the plant before being discharged into the sea. Part of that treated water will be processed into NEWater when the NEWater plant, which is being built on the rooftop of treatment facilities, is ready. The NEWater factory which will be operational by May next year can produce 50 million gallons of treated water daily. This is equivalent to the volume of water in 90 Olympic—sized swimming pools. PUB said the Changi Water Reclamation plant stands out in its land use. "The designers have incorporated a space saving design concept — things like stack treatment tanks and also stack treatment facilities like our sludge treatment facil

Is finnciti a scam? a layman perspective

Recently, thru a friend introduced me a platform finnciti (previously known as smicap) where you can multiple your investment in folds. The return as per quoted is up to 100% just by holding your investment on hand. I was skeptical and interested at the same time so I went online to do a little research on my own. It is not difficult to return result by just searching: "Is finnciti a scam" or "Is smicap a scam". Reviews were in mixed bag. Some mention that they earned big bucks and its a platform for normal people to get richer while some other point out some resemblance of a scam structure and therefore classified finnciti as a scam platform. I am a layman using basic logic to analyst the concept and by no mean I am advising to invest or against it. But in my humble opinion, ALL INVESTMENT POSSESSES RISK AND PLEASE BE PRUDENT WHEN DOING ANY KINDS INVESTMENT AND ONLY INVEST IN YOUR MONEY THAT YOU CAN BEAR LOSING .
