I saw this poll somewhere on Asiaone.com and surprisingly it almost very much representing my personal view. Out of the 4 University in Singapore, I always wanted to get into NTU. But look at the percentage of chio bu, pathetically 2.6% nia.
Okie, second week, I am already feeling the pressure of the school assignment liao. They starts coming in one by one. My assignment commitment level had surged to a new level. I thinking if I am really turning into a perfectionist?
Hmm, not a very good thing. I always had this bad attribute. I am so afraid of losing that I don't even bothers to try. That had turned me into a kind of person that unless I know I will win, I will not even try. Failure is part of life and I think everyone must learn to treat failure positively. Ya I know but I just prefered the feeling of giving up over the feeling of losing.
Today, I found another person who give credence on my view that friend is just a term to describe two individual, mutually making use of one another. Mrs Lee LJ today perfectly helped me to explain it. I wasn't good with my words, so when I say it, I sounds really very cruel. But typically, they mean the same thing. Mrs Lee says, you will realize that you had no friends left when the day that you becomes useless. She further elaborated that people finds you to be a good friend because you are a good listener, you are kind, helpful and etc. So in this way, you sort of becoming "useful" to that person. If one day, you are no longer fun loving, you turned cruel or you not longer entertaining. Your friends will leaves you. So perfectly true isn't it. So am I saying that there are not forever friends? Of course not!!! Just make sure that you are constantly providing your usefulness to one another.
