Fear Factor: Ngeen Ann retention wall series~

Today, I finally conquered the fear of climbing the retention wall outside our Ngee Ann gate. I say finally because I tried to walk across the retention once, but give up half way and climb over the barrier.

Few day ago, Vincent and Liqiang went back to school with me to do project on a weekend and while walking to bukit timah market, we discussed about the retention wall that we are studying for geotech. Then we saw the retenting wall outside. I realize that the wall starts at a very low level slowly rise up and then down again. I suggested that we walk on the outside ledge of the wall as it is quite spacial.

We all thought that it was chicken feet.. Initial was easy and everyone was laughing away at the stupid idea that I suggested. Slowly on the way up, my hand unintentionally reach onto the fences trying to guide myself. So in case I lost my balance I can grab onto it. Although that's quite possible as the ledge was actually quite spacial. Slowly, I felt nausea and giddy. Turning over my head, I see the two of them already climbed over the fences before the 1/4 mark. I wanna show my courage so I proceed on. Then slowly, my testicle like slowly travel up my throat. My plam are sweating, knee's weak, arm are heavy. I then realize that I actually had acrophobia. Give up before the half way mark.. (at the bus stop there is the highest)

So today, I suggested to liwen and she say she would very much want to prove to me that she dare to walk across. I doubt she can do it. So we start off walk at the lowest part, till we hit the road sign.. You can imagine how high is it. But that not even half of the height loh.
Where I am standing, it is almost at the highest part of the retenting wall. Actually from the picture, it looks not so scary. Until you try standing there physically. A lot of motorist turned and look at us.. haha
Look at her face.. She was so afraid. Oh.. looks like a lost kitten. So poor thing. But in the end, we manage to finish the whole retenting wall from left to right. Yeah. It is so additive and we attempt to try walking across again at night.
We had to take a few photo and evidence that we really walked across.

Pose until like model like that. KNS.. still act like EMO.
But the scenery is really nice on top. This is at the bus stop. So call the highest on the retenting wall.Take another one before coming down.. :)

So conclusion is. We made it through. Don't think it is so easy like that loh. One day you all should try it lah. Super exciting lah.

Model yong posing for the samsung phone which was like N year ago production lah. See see, still got anthenne somemore. Now still where got handphone got anthenne one??

Changi NEWater plant opened

SINGAPORE : Singapore’s largest and most advanced water reclamation plant — the Changi Water Reclamation Plant — will open next week. The pumping station at the new Changi Water Reclamation Plant is as high as a 25—storey building. The station collects all used water from the deep sewerage tunnels via gravity. The water then undergoes a treatment process at the plant before being discharged into the sea. Part of that treated water will be processed into NEWater when the NEWater plant, which is being built on the rooftop of treatment facilities, is ready. The NEWater factory which will be operational by May next year can produce 50 million gallons of treated water daily. This is equivalent to the volume of water in 90 Olympic—sized swimming pools. PUB said the Changi Water Reclamation plant stands out in its land use. "The designers have incorporated a space saving design concept — things like stack treatment tanks and also stack treatment facilities like our sludge treatment facil

Is finnciti a scam? a layman perspective

Recently, thru a friend introduced me a platform finnciti (previously known as smicap) where you can multiple your investment in folds. The return as per quoted is up to 100% just by holding your investment on hand. I was skeptical and interested at the same time so I went online to do a little research on my own. It is not difficult to return result by just searching: "Is finnciti a scam" or "Is smicap a scam". Reviews were in mixed bag. Some mention that they earned big bucks and its a platform for normal people to get richer while some other point out some resemblance of a scam structure and therefore classified finnciti as a scam platform. I am a layman using basic logic to analyst the concept and by no mean I am advising to invest or against it. But in my humble opinion, ALL INVESTMENT POSSESSES RISK AND PLEASE BE PRUDENT WHEN DOING ANY KINDS INVESTMENT AND ONLY INVEST IN YOUR MONEY THAT YOU CAN BEAR LOSING .
