New year resolution 09

Happy year 09.
Spend my night at home watching shows. A good way to save money and stays out of troubles.

So I guess it is now my turn to write down my vision for 09. They called it resolution. I am still very puzzled about why they didn't call it the new year revolution instead.

lasik surgery
good grade
weight loss to desire 65kg
treasure the most important person in my life.
and final strike TOTO!!!"

So let me round up what I had accomplished for year 08.

Mum said that lasik surgery was too expensive, although she promised that she will pay for me if I had gotten my scholarship. Well, I got my scholarship but no lasik surgery. Well as I always say "Promise are mend to be broken".

Hmm, I managed to maintain my score which is a good thing here, but for this semester, I am not so optimistic. But still hope everything will turn out fine. Especially WT and NPMC.

And I didn't manage to reduce my weight either. I didn't treasure my most important person in my life and I also never strike any TOTO.

So for my 09 resolution,

cosmetically making over
Get grades that allows me to UNI
quit smoking
treasure the most important person in my life
socially more confident and outgoing
overcome stage fright

Hmmm, that will make me a better person. I hope I can achieve these in this coming year

Changi NEWater plant opened

SINGAPORE : Singapore’s largest and most advanced water reclamation plant — the Changi Water Reclamation Plant — will open next week. Is finnciti a scam? a layman perspective

Recently, thru a friend introduced me a platform finnciti (previously known as smicap) where you can multiple your investment in folds. The return as per quoted is up to 100% just by holding your investment on hand. I was skeptical and interested at the same time so I went online to do a little research on my own. It is not difficult to return result by just searching: "Is finnciti a scam" or "Is smicap a scam". Reviews were in mixed bag. Some mention that they earned big bucks and its a platform for normal people to get richer while some other point out some resemblance of a scam structure and therefore classified finnciti as a scam platform. I am a layman using basic logic to analyst the concept and by no mean I am advising to invest or against it.
